Agreement inked at the signing ceremony
KUALA LUMPUR, January 27, 2022: DSY Medical Education Sdn Bhd (DSYME) entered into a partnership with the KDN-registered non-profit Institute of Complementary and Traditional Medicine (ICTM) to offer a mixed-mode part-time Professional Certificate in Nutritional Therapy (PCNT), which is a pre-professional qualification needed to qualify for Associateship of the Association of Nutritional & Functional Medicine Practitioners Malaysia (www.anfmp.org.my).
DSY Medical Education’s education and training arm is the School of Complementary & Traditional Medicine (SCOTMED).
Those with tertiary education but not equivalent to a relevant degree from a JPA-recognised university are advised to enrol in this Foundation Programme prior to entering professional training in nutritional and functional medicine.
Those who successfully complete the nine-month part-time intensive PCNT programme may apply to join the ANFMP as an Associate Member (ANFMP), which can be upgraded to full membership after completing these validated qualifications with the School of Complementary & Traditional Medicine (SCOTMED):
- Professional Certificate in Nutritional & Functional Medicine; and
- Professional Diploma in Nutritional & Functional Medicine.
